Lebanese national crosses into occupied territories for second time
A Lebanese national identified as A.M. (born in 1993) crossed on Sunday the border fence and entered into the Occupied Palestinian territories at the Fatima Gate, south Lebanon.
The state-run National News Agency reported that a van picked him up after he crossed some distance inside the occupied territories.
The Lebanese Army and UNIFIL peacekeepers cordoned off the area.
The agency added that it is the second time that he crosses the border fence and he had been considered mentally disturbed.
Later in the day, the UNIFIL carried out a series of contacts over the issue and it was agreed that the man returns to Lebanon via the peacekeeping forces.
