One killed and several injured in Sweets Factory fire in Aley

A fire raged Saturday through a factory for sweets in the mountainous region of Aalayeh, killing one and injuring nine others.

Mohey Eddine al Badawy Plant caught fire due to reasons still unclear, with speculations over a gas leak or electricity malfunction.

Seif Eddine Alsayed Safi, Sudanese national, was mortally wounded, while nine others were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
