MPs, ministers quit after Beirut blast
Resignations continued on Monday in Lebanon following the huge explosion that rocked the Beirut city on six days ago.

This as Minister of Justice Marie Claude Najem submitted her resignation from the government as well as Minister of Defense Zeina Akar.

These resignations came after MPs Henri el-Helo and Paula Yaacoubian said they quit.

Last Saturday, the Kataeb Party announced the resignation of its three lawmakers from parliament, while the information and environment ministers quit on Sunday.
