Geagea accuses current cabinet of Hassan's assassination

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea said on Sunday that the current cabinet is responsible, directly and indirectly, for the assassination of Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan, noting that the first required initiative is its resignation.

"I call on partisans to remain prepared for serious movements to bring about our salvation and put end to this series of funerals, so be ready to fight until stability is restored," Geagea added.

Geagea had previously called on LF and March 14 supporters at Riad al-Solh Square to stop attacking the Grand Serail but to keep on expressing their opinions in a calm and peaceful manner.
