Saudi Arabia backs Lebanon’s measures to protect security, addresses UNIFIL attack

Saudi Arabia expressed its full support for the measures taken by Lebanon to confront attempts to undermine the security of its citizens and to firmly address the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeping force.

The kingdom reaffirmed its confidence in the actions of President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in this regard, as well as the Lebanese army’s national efforts to ensure security and stability.
