Israeli army warns residents of south of Zahrani River to head north

The Israeli army has issued an urgent warning to residents in South Lebanon located south of the Zahrani River, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said that Hezbollah’s activities in the area are forcing the army to operate with significant force, while claiming it does not intend to harm civilians.

The statement added that airstrikes are ongoing and that military operations in the area remain intense.

Residents were urged to leave their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River, with the army warning that anyone staying near Hezbollah members, facilities, or weapons would be putting their lives at risk.

It also cautioned that any movement southward could endanger civilians’ lives.
