Lebanon moves to strengthen ceasefire; Trump speaks with Lebanon’s ambassador on truce stability

Lebanon’s three top officials are engaged in intensive contacts with the United States to consolidate the ceasefire, sources told LBCI.

The sources said President Joseph Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam are conducting ongoing communications with the American side aimed at reinforcing the ceasefire arrangement.

The sources also reported that U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Lebanon’s ambassador to Washington, Nada Hamadeh Moawad, to discuss efforts to stabilize and uphold the ceasefire.
