Israeli warning targets six towns in South Lebanon

The Israeli military on Friday issued an urgent warning to residents in several towns and villages in South Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate immediately amid ongoing hostilities with Hezbollah.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the warning applies to residents of Sarafand, Tefahta, Babliyeh, Qaaqaaiyet El Snoubar, Merouaniyeh, and Saksakiyeh.

In a statement posted on X, Adraee said the Israeli military was intensifying operations in the area, accusing Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement and targeting Israel’s civilian population.

“Due to Hezbollah’s breach of the ceasefire and its attacks on the Israeli home front, the Israeli army is compelled to act forcefully against it, particularly in your areas,” he said.

Adraee urged residents to leave their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River, warning that anyone remaining near Hezbollah members, facilities, or military assets would be placing their lives at risk.
