Netanyahu urges need to confront Iran with serious threat to prevent it from possessing nuclear weapon

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized on Friday the need to confront Iran with a "credible nuclear threat," before his office corrected the statement, clarifying that it was a "misreading," and that what was meant was a "military threat."

Netanyahu stated from the podium of the United Nations General Assembly: "As long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel, I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."
