Death toll rises to 13 in attack on Iranian consulate in Damascus

The number of casualties in the attack targeting the Iranian consulate in Damascus on Monday rose to 13, including seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to Tehran's official television on Tuesday.

The television said, "In the attack carried out by the Zionist regime on the Iranian embassy consulate in the Syrian capital, seven Iranians and six Syrians were killed." The previous toll had reported 11 deaths.
