G7 warns Iran of consequences of continuing to develop nuclear program

In the draft final statement of their annual summit on Friday, G7 leaders issued a warning to Iran about the consequences of continuing to develop its uranium enrichment program and stated they are prepared to impose new measures if Tehran transfers ballistic missiles to Russia.

The statement, seen by Reuters, said, "We urge Tehran to stop and reverse its nuclear escalation and to cease its ongoing uranium enrichment activities, which have no credible civilian justification."
