Israel welcomes Syria’s participation in EU–Middle East meeting

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said Monday that Israel welcomes Syria’s participation in the European Union–Middle East meeting in Brussels.

“We welcome the participation of the Syrian minister. We will be meeting together in the same room. Let’s see what happens,” Sa’ar told reporters ahead of the scheduled meeting.
