Israeli army claims conducting simultaneous raids in southern Syria, seizes weapons

The Israeli army carried out overnight raids targeting four locations in southern Syria, uncovering and confiscating weapons, according to a statement posted by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee on X.

“During the night hours, forces from the 226th Brigade under the 210th Division, in cooperation with field interrogators from Unit 504, carried out an operation to question several suspects involved in weapons trafficking in the area of the village of Hadar in southern Syria,” Adraee claimed.

“In light of prior intelligence monitoring and in-depth field investigation, the forces raided four locations simultaneously and discovered numerous weapons traded by the suspects,” he continued.

“Troops from the 210th Division are deployed in the field to prevent the entrenchment of terrorist elements along the Syrian border and to protect the citizens of the State of Israel,” he added.
