Iran's Araghchi says Israel needs to halt attacks against Lebanon

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate calls with his Saudi, Turkish, Iraqi and Egyptian counterparts, according to a post on his Telegram account.

He told them Israel's attacks against Lebanon needed to be completely halted, saying that the United States bears responsibility for implementing the framework deal on ending the war.

Trump on Sunday said on social media that a weekend Israeli air strike on Beirut "should not have happened."
