Iran: Trump’s economic war against us is an attempt to divert attention from domestic problems

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Thursday that the economic war U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to launch against Iran was merely an attempt to divert attention from economic problems at home, warning that any additional pressure would fail.

Trump earlier announced what he described as the “strongest and most crushing economic operation” ever imposed against any country, aimed at isolating Iran economically.
