Israel FM says spoke with UAE counterpart following diverted flight

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said on Wednesday that he spoke with UAE top diplomat Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, following the diversion of a flydubai flight between Dubai and Tel Aviv.

"Mutual determination was expressed to strengthen relations between the countries on all levels and to collaborate against extremist elements seeking to harm security and undermine stability in the region," Saar wrote on X.
