REPORT: Future bloc explains its stance regarding General Authority session

Despite efforts exerted by Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, the fate of the General Authority session scheduled for the 16th of July seems to be similar to other previously planned sessions.

The Future Bloc said that it is basing its stance on article 69 of the constitution which stipulates that the parliament holds extraordinary sessions once the cabinet resigns.

This report will examine the fate of the General Authority session as well as the Future Bloc’s stance in this regard.
