REPORT: They lived and died in exile

The Lebanese state buried approximately 40 bodies as well as many human organs and parts in the cemetery of Beirut’s Ghobeiri.

They were accumulating in the morgues of Baabda’s governmental hospital and Rafik Hariri University Hospital.

Unidentified, the bodies and remains belonged to foreign workers who died of natural reasons or accidents.

Since they were unidentified and of unknown religions nor sects, some have been laying in refrigerators for 13 years and the state did not take action to bury them.
