REPORT: Lebanese citizens gather in solidarity with Massad stairs in Ashrafieh

"To whom it may concern, the Massad stairs will not be destroyed, we are fed up with fraud and roguery," those were the slogans chanted in solidarity with the Massad stairs in a gathering on Saturday night.

The historic stairs, facing the threat of destruction, were built over a century ago and constitute one of the most beautiful urban monuments in the Mar Mikhael area.
