Based on the Geneva convention ratified at the Lebanese cabinet in 2012 stipulating the transfer from analogue television broadcasting to digital television broadcasting by June 2015, the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International LBCI commenced implementing the needed measures by halting all analogue TV broadcast in a bid to keep pace with modern broadcast technologies.

In this regard, LBCI would like to inform its viewers who are still dependent on traditional means of broadcast -via antenna wires- that the channel’s broadcast will be halted on the 5th of March 2015.

Meanwhile, various means are available to view LBCI, and among them cable networks, satellite providers, the Nilesat transponder via LDC, or via LBCI’s online website which also provides live streaming.

LBCI also assures its viewers that it’s ready to communicate with them to provide them with the best services, adding that the IT team is always ready to help them by calling on 09-850850 ext. 1000 – 1001 – 1002.

LDC’s frequencies via Nilesat on:

Transponder: 27 Down Frequency: 12226 MHZ -11680 MHZ Polarization: Horizontal Symbol Rate: 27500 FEC: 3/4 Modulation: DVB-S QPSK
