Nasrallah rejects calls for Kordahi resignation, says KSA reaction “very exaggerated”-[REPORT]
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Thursday that the visit of UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan to Syria “is equal to the recognition" of President Bachar Assad's victory over the armed opposition that was funded by Gulf states.”

On another note, Nasrallah rejected calls for the resignation of Information Minister George Kordahi, whose statements sparked a diplomatic row with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states and prompted them to recall their envoys from Lebanon.

In his first comments on the issue, Nasrallah said Saudi Arabia's reaction to comments made by Kordahi about the Saudi-led war in Yemen were "very exaggerated".

Nasrallah said Kordahi's comments were "calm and objective".
