Judge Aoun orders arrest of Raja Salameh-[REPORT]

Mount Lebanon Public Prosecutor Judge Ghada Aoun issued on Thursday a decision stating the arrest of Raja Salameh, the brother of Banque Du Liban Governor Riyad Salameh after a hearing and investigation session.

The questioning took place on the background of a lawsuit filed by the legal department of the “Pioneers of Justice” group, represented by lawyer Haitham Ezzo, and a group of lawyers, with accusations of money laundering and illegal enrichment at the expense of the Banque du Liban’s treasury.
