British Defense Minister Ben Wallace resigns

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace, who announced last month that he would step down in the upcoming ministerial reshuffle, has resigned, Downing Street announced on Thursday.

In a message to Wallace (53 years old), Prime Minister Rishi Sunak praised his "dedication and skill" demonstrated during his leadership role in supporting Western allies for Ukraine against Russia.
