Biden calls US allies to discuss support for Ukraine: White House

President Joe Biden held discussions on Tuesday with leaders of allied countries to coordinate the next steps in providing assistance to Ukraine. 

This comes just days after Ukraine was excluded from an agreement in the US Congress, which helped avert a government shutdown in Washington.

The White House announced that "President Biden conducted a call this morning with our allies and partners to coordinate our continued support for Ukraine."
