Italy says Russia expelled Italian military attache 'without cause'

Italy's foreign minister said Monday that Russia had expelled an Italian military attache and one of his aides from Moscow "without cause."

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote on X that it represented a "blatant act of retaliation for Italy’s expulsion of two Russian military attachés," whom he said had been caught spying against Rome.
