The Finance Ministry presented before the reforms committee a proposal to annex 21 public institutions to the relevant ministries, in a bid to reduce their cost of operation, which includes the cost of renting offices, contracts, committees as well as other expenses.
This move can also lead to the transfer of some of the institutions’ employees to fill vacant positions at other public administrations.
