Mikati briefs Aoun on results of his meetings with ministerial committees and IMF

President Michel Aoun received on Tuesday morning Prime Minister Najib Mikati and discussed with him the general situation of the country as well as the latest developments.

Following the meeting, Mikati said that he briefed Aoun of the results of the meetings he held with the recently formed ministerial committees responsible for following up on the various issues currently being discussed.

Prime Minister Mikati also put President Aoun in the context of the call he made with the International Monetary Fund, in preparation for negotiations to address the economic and financial situation in the country.
