Following its weekly meeting, the bloc reiterated its adherence to the candidacy of Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea, calling on the March 8 forces to nominate their candidate and refrain from disrupting the electoral process.
On another note, the Future Bloc hailed the reconciliation reached in the Chouf town of Brih, considering it a step towards overcoming the discrepancies and addressing looming challenges.
On Saturday the 17th of April, hundreds gathered in the Chouf village of Brih to consolidate the reconciliation between Christians and Druze.
Christians were forced to leave the Chouf village of Brih during Lebanon's Civil War.
Reconciliation efforts have been exerted to bring them back to their homes.
Brih was originally inhabited by Christians and Druze.
