Israeli army issues warning to residents of Aaita El Jabal, South Lebanon

Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army spokesperson, posted on X a warning to residents of southern Lebanon, specifically in the village of Aaita El Jabal (El Zot).

He stated: "The Israeli army will soon strike Hezbollah’s military infrastructure to counter the prohibited attempts by Hezbollah to rebuild its activities in the area. Residents of the building marked in red on the attached map and surrounding structures are in proximity to a site used by Hezbollah. For your safety, you must evacuate immediately and maintain a distance of at least 500 meters. Remaining in the area poses serious danger."

In a subsequent post, he clarified the scope of the warning, addressing circulating rumors: "Contrary to some reports, the evacuation instructions apply only to residents of the buildings marked on the maps and their immediate surroundings. No statement has been issued calling for a wide-scale evacuation of villages in southern Lebanon. All official announcements are published here."
