Lebanon says no hospital evacuations in Beirut's southern suburbs, services continue

Lebanon's Public Health Ministry said no hospitals have been evacuated in recent hours in Beirut's southern suburbs, stressing that medical facilities remain fully operational.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed that hospitals, including Al Rassoul Al Azam Hospital, Sainte Therese Hospital, and STMC, continue to provide uninterrupted medical and healthcare services. The same applies to Rafik Hariri University Hospital and Al Zahraa Hospital.

The ministry added that it has been in contact with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), urging that hospitals and medical facilities not be targeted.

According to the statement, the ministry has received international assurances in this regard.
