Lebanon Civil Defense warns against swimming along coast amid high waves

Lebanon’s Civil Defense warned citizens and residents on Sunday against swimming along the country’s coastline due to dangerous sea conditions.

In a statement, the Civil Defense said rising waves and strong marine currents are increasing the likelihood of drowning incidents and putting swimmers’ lives at risk.
