French FM: Considering sending Eutelsat units to Iran

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said on Wednesday that Paris is considering helping provide internet services in Iran by sending satellite signal reception units from the company Eutelsat, following the Iranian authorities’ disruption of communications services.

Barrot  told parliament in response to a question about sending Eutelsat units to Iran, “We are considering all options, including the one you mentioned.”
