Report: Israeli army drafting plan targeting villages along Lebanon border
Israel’s Channel 12 reported, citing sources, that the Israeli army is preparing to present a plan to the political leadership aimed at destroying villages in southern Lebanon.
According to the report, the proposed plan is part of broader efforts to expand the buffer zone along the border. The objective of destroying Lebanese villages, the sources said, would be to ensure that residents do not return to live in border areas
