Is there any guarantee that Caesar's Act will not be applied?-[REPORT]
Energy Minister Walid Fayyad met on Tuesday with US ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea.

Following the meeting, the ambassador said that a huge progress has been made in terms of regional energy deals “that the US has been keen to see moving forward.”

“We are trying to get humanitarian relief, a real humanitarian relief for the Lebanese people who has been suffering for far too long from energy shortages and electricity outages,” Shea added.

The ambassador also noted that she is pleased for making “further progress toward getting gas into Lebanon from Egypt and electricity into Lebanon from excess electricity on the Jordanian grid.”
