Azerbaijan’s Aliyev calls for early presidential elections

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called for early presidential elections in February.

A decree issued by the presidency instructed officials to conduct "early elections" on the seventh of February next year. The elections were previously scheduled for 2025.
