US, Japan condemn Russian military cooperation with China, N. Korea

The United States and Japan condemned on Sunday Russia's increasing military cooperation with both China and North Korea, following talks between Tokyo and Washington's foreign and defense ministers in Tokyo.

The ministers "highlighted with concern Russia's growing and provocative strategic military cooperation" with China and "strongly condemned deepening Russia-North Korea cooperation," according to a joint statement issued in Tokyo.
