Iran in touch with Lebanon to ensure ceasefire commitments respected: FM

Iran has been in touch with Lebanon to make sure ceasefire commitments were being respected on all fronts, the Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson ⁠told state TV on Saturday from Islamabad, where talks involving senior U.S. and Iranian officials are taking place to end their six-week-old war.

Lebanese officials close ⁠to Hezbollah told Reuters on Friday that the group was supportive of ⁠the Pakistan dialogue, and said it was the right ⁠approach instead of a separate set ⁠of talks in Washington next week.
