EU chief says Russian attack on Kyiv shows Ukraine 'urgently needs more air defense'

Ukraine "urgently needs more air defense", European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said after Russia's latest major attack on the Kyiv region with ballistic missiles and drones on Monday.

"We will discuss it this week in Ankara at the NATO summit," von der Leyen said on social media.
