Israeli evacuation warning issued for multiple southern Lebanon towns, residents urged to move north of Zahrani River

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent evacuation warning on X to residents of Bafliyeh, Derdghaiya, Chehour, Hallousiyyeh, Barish, Hallousiyyeh al-Fawqa, Tayr Felsay, Bastiyat, Arzoun, Jabal al-Zarour, Zahr Barriat Jaber, Maaroub, Debaal and Al-Hamiri.

Adraee said the warning follows what he described as ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, adding that the Israeli army intends to operate forcefully against the group while stressing that civilians are not the target.

He urged residents to evacuate immediately and move north of the Zahrani River, warning that anyone near Hezbollah personnel, facilities or weapons would be at risk.
