US Vice President JD Vance arrives in Armenia: State TV

U.S. Vice President JD Vance arrived in Armenia on Monday, Armenian public TV reported, adding that he was to travel to Azerbaijan the next day, as Washington seeks to consolidate a peace process between the neighbors.

Vance will be the most senior U.S. official ever to visit Armenia, where he is also expected to advance a flagship project to improve road-and-rail infrastructure in the region.
