Israeli army says soldier killed in combat in southern Lebanon, toll rises to 21

The Israeli army announced the death of one of its soldiers “in combat” in southern Lebanon, bringing the total toll to 21.

The army said the killed soldier was 27-year-old Major Itamar Sapir, deputy company commander in Reserve Brigade 551.
