Iranian media outlet says 'US and Israeli fighters' struck central Tehran

The Tasnim news agency said on Tuesday that "U.S. and Israeli fighters" struck central Tehran on the fourth day of the war between Iran, the United States and Israel.

Tasnim aired a video filmed in central Tehran -- which is home to numerous government buildings -- that showed smoke rising into the sky.

"Significant damage has been observed to homes in the neighbourhood" near Enghelab Square, Tasnim reported. AFP was not immediately able to verify the extent of the damage.
