UN peacekeeper injured after Israeli army operation in Kfarkela, Adraee says

The Israeli army said its forces acted on Saturday to disperse individuals suspected of attempting to rebuild Hezbollah military infrastructure in the southern Lebanese town of Kfarkela.

According to army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the operation involved the use of a hand grenade. Following the incident, UNIFIL forces, through military coordination channels, reported that one of their members was injured by the explosion.

The statement said the incident was investigated, and measures were reinforced to ensure safety during operations conducted near UNIFIL positions.
