Iran restores 50% of damaged production capacity at South Pars gas field

Iran has restored around 50% of the damaged production capacity at the South Pars gas field, the semi-official Fars news agency reported on Wednesday, citing Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Zeraatkar.

Zeraatkar said all planned repairs would be completed before winter.

In late August, he said around 40% of the damaged capacity had returned to production.
